We hear about the “blue blood moon”, the planets alignment and the powerful time we are living in, the Elder’s visiting from other countries, the missile warning, which put a lot of people off center, or the next 5 things you need to do in order to get your whatever clear, balanced and optimized. Or the next big thing…

Always looking for the next fix as an addict needing this external rush in order to survive the moment until the next fix and then the next. When is enough… enough!

Stuff and more stuff, as if life depended on more stuff to do or engaged on. What happened to the simplicity of being, to waking up with gusto and full of life, not because you have this great cause to accomplish (even though it may be rewarding), but the engagement with life on its terms and to know that we are powerful enough to change who we are and what we do anytime we want to. Even if the health is not what you desire or even if you are not where you and your ego tells you that you need to be, is all nonsense anyways. I guess this will require a sense of surrender, which in peoples mind may seem to surrendering to always been the same… NO, this is victimhood. What i mean, is surrendering to what is and accepting the now and stopping long enough to know you are powerful, more powerful then your thoughts, circumstances and what others may project on to you or demand of you.

What happened to looking at your beloveds eyes and smiling without the need to say a word, to embrace this beloved and share the beauty of the simple moment of waking from our sleep, or looking into your child’s eyes and discovering the world anew through them. What happened to contemplating the wave as it rises and falls, or the waterfall running down to the ocean, just to share on the moments of sacredness as the waters meet, realizing that this is a sacred place.

Today is a good day to die… and is also a good day to live! And, as Nahko says in his song… “Which wolf would you feed?”. The one that is scared and needs to be a lonely wolf or the one that knows he/she is the alpha and there is nothing more important than what is at hand. The gift of life (even if you are missing a limb), the company of those around you, and specially the warm embrace of those that care enough to be around, whether is physically or emotionally.

My invitation to you is to surrender without any expectation… let this surrender take you to new life. Be well and know you are loved, important and there is something that needs to be accomplished that can only be done by you!
