About Willian continued…
Willian’s loving openness helps support the discovery of beneficial life-giving strategies. His ability to help those that come to him accept and love their circumstances has proven to be effective and life-changing. Here is what Raquel has said about her experience… “Mahalo Willie… Through your mentoring and individual sessions I was able to heal the relationship with both my Mom & Dad.”
Through his life-affirming and compassionate one to one life-coaching, workshops, wisdom circle and weekend retreats he offers a safe container to look inside and make life changing decisions that brings peace to the past and a sense of curiosity towards the future.
Here is Jeffrey P. sharing his experience from the Wisdom Circle… “If you have never been to a wisdom-circle then your soul journey is not complete. At the circle last night, a greater spiritual awareness occurred for me through the process of letting go of some unresolved pain. The level of trust, safety, love, and acceptance I felt from the others who participated was unconditional, which allowed me to begin healing the wounds of my soul. Thank you Willian for your compassion and skill in the healing arts.”
Here’s Ronelle sharing her Weekend Experience… “Thank you Willie… I had a beautiful experience at the retreat. I now hold a place of love for myself and know others are a part of my healing too. I am grateful to Willie for showing me to trust my heart and choices now.”

I was asked by a man who cares about the wellness of others the following questions. I think these are very important and legitimate questions, so I decided to share them with those that come to my website.
What credentials do you have? Or what qualifies you to work with others?
This one is difficult to answer. The question that comes to mind is, what is a credential and how does one attain it? To me there are two types of credentials one that comes from life experience and the willingness to do your work and as a result of this having circumstances come up that give you the opportunity to sharpen the skills under a qualified leadership team. The second type of credential is that which you can get from learning certain concepts, ideals, and things found in the classroom setting. These settings provide a great way to be expose to the information that these classes and courses have offered and in my experienced they don’t provide the expertise necessary to lead someone in a process as delicate and very much sacred as the carpet work or guts work or inner healing work.
My credentials come from the first. I’ve been practicing the Art of Helping people way before i did my first training in 2004. Ever since i can remember i’ve listen and offer what ever wisdom i had to others, i’ve use this to raise two daughters and mentor 3 boys through out my life. In my 20’s i was involved with the organization call “Big Brother’s of Greater Los Angeles”, and through this organization attended trainings and mentor and young boy till his late teens.
During the 90’s i was involved in my local church and soon became involved in working with children, from the nursery to the high schoolers. Soon after that i move to work in the Men’s Ministries and was in charge of providing the leadership and training for our small circles as well as providing opportunities for growth for these men, these activities ranged from organizing events to provide valuable training, as well as opportunity to serve, such as serving in food kitchens with the homeless to building homes in Mexico to families that are in deep need. I continued to be involved in the leadership of the church through 2004. Some of these leadership responsibilities included both the pastoral care as well as the administrative oversight of the church both at a local and denominational level.
Starting in 2001 i got involved with the ARC (American Red Cross) as a volunteer. My responsibilities with the ARC started very simple, first volunteering to do anything and everything from moving boxes to calls in the middle of the night to respond to someone loosing their home and being displaced by a fire or some other emergency. I soon moved up in the ARC organization and had the privilege to attend many trainings with this organization. If you remember in the mid 2000’s we had the “California Wild Fires” I was there and our chapter was the first to respond to this emergency. As part of the training i received i was able to start and lead and train others in leading and becoming an intricate part of the team. And, provide our clients the care for their needs. During this fire season i was able to help coordinate efforts between houses of worship and ARC. I utilized my influence on both organizations to offer to my local church to serve as a shelter and we did so during this season. Once this devastating event happened i got trained as a case worker and at this time I actually got hired by the ARC to be a caseworker. My responsibilities as a case worker were to look at the lives of the families involved and to look for all the resources available to help them get grants, loans, and gifts to rebuilt their lives and homes and this is very much in a literal way. And, something that was not in the job description and yet i did offer was the ability to empathize and bring emotional support to these families. My pastoral training really helped me during this time.
A few years ago we had Hurricane Katrina hit the New Orleans area. When this happened there was a migration to California of these homeless people, our chapter again provide the care and coordination of the local resources to be directed to these people in need. During this time i was one of the head coordinators of this effort and was actually working very closely with all the Houses of Worship in the area and the ARC. During this time i also had the opportunity to serve as Director of Response in our chapter. This was short-lived but it was a nice, very demanding and very fulfilling opportunity, the only reason for the shortness of my time in serving as Director was because of my work responsibilities.
This brings me to 2004. After i attended my first training weekend and experiencing deep healing, i latch to this work with all of my being. In 2005 i was invited to be in Leadership and started being trained as a guts facilitator. From that time on i have received many trainings and have helped to lead hundreds of processes. I’ve attended “Marked Men For Christ” training, the MKP training, Levels 1 through level 4, mother wound, father wound, dynamics or relationships and others at the LFTH. And, as part of going through these trainings i was given the opportunity to lead entire weekends and these trainings mentioned above. I also attended a training in Shadow Work as well a training that David Karr offered at the Yahoo center, i believe in 2009. And, during the 2009 and 2010 i was training others on how to facilitate guts work or carpet work.
2010 and 2011 were years of change and refocus and as part of this refocus i’ve decided to take my life experience and offer to others the same opportunities to receive what was so graciously given to me. So, do i have a paper that says i am qualified to facilitate? the answer is no. I do have the seasoning of my years and the experience of my own life as well as a deep sense of responsibility to offer an environment of safety, acceptance and love for people to open up and allow themselves to received the healing they so desperately need and want. And, i also have the blessings of knowing that many lives have changed and will continue to change as i listen to the guidance of the Divine Spirit that has always guided and directed my steps.
You see what i do now is no different from what i’ve done through out my life. I observe the person wanting to do the work, listen to what they want and look for the resources they have available to them to bring the healing they are desiring and longing for.
2018: UPDATE
In 2013 I was invited by a very good friend to come to the beautiful island of Kauai. As, i accepted this invitation to be at the Wellness Expo in Lihue, the unexpected happened. On the evening of the 7th of February 2014, i was packing my bags to get on the plane the next day. I hear the voice of Spirit say… “Pack what you would need for the next 6 months”, surprised of the message, not of hearing the voice, i responded… OK, but my plane ticket says i am coming back on the 21st. Not a denial or challenged, just stating the facts.
Well the world takes many turns and sometimes a turn is nothing of what we expect. And, yet 3 years later i find Kauai my new home. I never did leave the island except to visit family and friends. I have had the privilege of connecting in many circles here in Kauai and find an Ohana that has my back and loves me and my family.
Now in 2018 i am beginning to offer my medicine along side my beloved wife, friend and partner, Sabina Garavito-Schöpfer.
Thank you for listening.
