“I have done a lot of men’s weekends, so truth is I was not that thrilled to do another one. From the first day I had a sense that I was in a different kind of weekend. It felt special, as though something was wooing (romancing) me. Looking back I think what made it special was the presence of God and Spirit. I was surprised at the things that triggered/challenged me. And Willie was always conscious of when to step in and tend to what was happening with me to bring new awareness of myself. I took away a new awareness of some of the agreements I have made; when they took place and how they have served me. I was able to get some closure over one of my deepest and most painful wounds. I took away the mystery of Spirit and a new found strength within me. I also made great new friends and brothers to accompany my journey.”
“The weekend for me is the second one I take regarding my SSA. In this weekend I could get to hear my inner voice, address it. I could challenge the agreements I have been living my life with, revise them and change them if necessary. This has led me into being more free in making decisions and walking my journey being a better man.”
“My impression was that it was a healing experience to all involved. I personally was taken by surprise, since I did not know what to expect. Slowly, the weekend developed as an aperture to energy and grace that made me reflect on my life and take the necessary steps into going forward in my journey with a new outlook.”
“My favorite part was the fellowship and the leadership. The fellowship between the men who attended was incredible. Their openness, their heartfelt sincerity, kindness and warmth made the perfect ambiance to let oneself go and do the necessary work. The leadership of Willie was caring, compassionate, happy and loving, all these elements made the weekend a truly special experience.”
“My life is different because I see it with different eyes. This could not have been possible without Willie and Heather. I read the other day “Do not cut what you can untie”, and before the weekend, I was ready just to cut…now, I can take the time and effort to untie things, and know it is worth it.”
